The Journey of Louis W. Bray Construction
Louis W. Bray Construction was founded in 1972 by Louis Bray, a visionary in the construction industry. With a $5,000 inheritance and another $5,000 borrowed from family, Louis secured his first contract with Lancaster Township, a small culvert project that marked the beginning of a long journey. Through resilience, hard work, and a commitment to quality, Louis grew the company project by project. Over the years, Louis W. Bray Construction expanded its services, taking on increasingly complex infrastructure projects across Ontario.
In 1990, after Louis’s passing, his wife, June Bray, entrusted their son, Mike Bray, to lead the company operationally. Mike continued his father’s legacy, growing the business while maintaining the core values that made it successful. In 2016, Nicholas Bray, Mike’s son, joined the family business, ensuring that the company’s leadership would continue to uphold its long-standing dedication to quality, safety, and innovation. In January 2023, Nick Bray became the Managing Director, and in 2025, he became President, with Mike as the Chairman.
