CAMBRIDGE STREET NORTH & CHRISTIE STREET SEWER REHABILITATION

The project consisted or replacing and upsizing the current combined sewer to address upstream flooding concerns at the Bruyere Hospital during precipitation events. The existing 375mm sewer was replaced with both 525mm and 600mm diameter concrete pipe, for a total length of replaced sewer of 485m. The excavation for the sewer replacement was through bedrock and required approximately 2000m3 of bedrock to be broken and excavated via hydraulic hammer.
