MUNICIPAL WORKS SALT STORAGE FACILITY CONSTRUCTION & PHASE 1 YARD REDEVELOPMENT

This project was the first of seven phases the City of Cornwall planned for upgrading their Municipal Works Yard. The main components and deliverable in this phase involved the following:

  • Site servicing of the municipal yard for this phase and future phases
  • Demolition of the existing two salt storage structures and construction of the new 7000 Ton capacity salt storage building
  • Construction of the new employee parking for City staff on an adjacent previously unused property
  • Construction of the new utility station along with a generating station for Stand-by power
  • Construction of a new sound barrier wall along the perimeter of the property
