COUNTY ROAD 31 & FLAGG ROAD STRUCTURE REPLACEMENTS


This project consisted of the full demolition and reconstruction of two reinforced concrete bridges spanning over Highway 401 north of Morrisburg, Ontario. The major components of the work included demolition of existing structures, deep foundation installation (steel H-piles), construction of reinforced concrete substructures and superstructures, installation of precast concrete girders, reconstruction of road structure at the approaches to the new bridges, including construction of a new approach embankment at the CR31 structure.
