Owned by Parks Canada, the Hastings Swing Bridge measures 82 feet (25 meters) in length and is in the Village of Hastings, in the Municipality of Trent Hills at Lock 18 on the Trent-Severn Waterway. This project involved the fabrication and placement of a new swing span superstructure on an existing, rehabilitated sub-structure. Despite a very tight schedule for the installation of components, the project was completed on time and reopened to vehicular traffic during the month of April 2016 and gave access to boat navigation on May 15, 2016.
