The project is a new 12,000m2 warehouse and office building on an expansive 20-acre site. Our scope of work consists of site clearing, stripping, and grading, excavation of a storm retention pond, nearly a kilometer of storm pipe as well as excavation and stone backfill for the warehouse and office building as well as the large 17,000m2 asphalt area and concrete aprons.
A 3m diameter by 5m deep Oil Grit Separator manhole was installed. This manhole will filter sediment from the storm water leaving the site.
Five 45,000-liter fire tanks were installed. The tanks measured 6m x 3m x 4m and weighed 41,000 kgs each. These precast concrete tanks will store the water needed to supply the building fire suppression system in case of a fire. A sump manhole measuring 1.8m in diameter and about 5m deep was also installed next to the tank followed by one last run of storm pipe with 3 catch basins.
Our attention has now turned to finishing touches across the site including final grading, paving, and landscaping keeping the project well on track for completion in summer 2026.
