The project involved the excavation of over 25,000 cubic meters of fill and clay to construct the stormwater infrastructure and including the placement and shaping of approximately 4,300 cubic meters of clay to stabilize the perimeter berms. The works included construction of a forebay storage pond and a northwest storage pond with a combined storage capacity of 12,747 cubic meters, as well as an overflow pond designed to accommodate the 100-year storm event with an additional capacity of approximately 28,000 cubic meters. The scope also included installation of a new pond outlet system consisting of 450-1500mm HDPE piping discharging to a large outlet structure and an overflow structure complete with valve gates and weir wall.
